SCHOLARSHIPS AT VANCOUVER ISLAND UNIVERSITY (VIU), CANADA
• VIU International Undergraduate Regional Scholarship: $5,000 ($2,500 for the first & second year)
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Full Program Scholarships: $1,000 per year for up to 4 years of academic study
• International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Entry Scholarships: $1,000 each for the first year of study. All IB diploma holders receive this scholarship
* All students are considered for scholarships at the time of admission, based on their grades from their submitted results/transcripts and application supporting documents. The standard deadline for admission to most VIU programs is March 31st, and scholarship selections are determined 6 weeks after this closing date. A separate application for scholarships is not required, as students will be automatically considered if they meet the scholarship criteria and selection will be based on prior outstanding academic performance. Those students selected to receive a scholarship/award will be notified by VIU's international admissions team. Please note that students can only be awarded one entrance scholarship.
